He recently started taking acid reflux medicine which seems to be helping some. It's hard to tell because there are still times that he will spit up a lot! One huge difference is that he will drink his bottle without stopping to scream. It was a struggle before to get him to drink a bottle - he wanted it so bad but it just hurt him too much so he'd scream through every feeding. I'm so glad that's getting better.
We still aren't sleeping through the night but are hoping to get there soon! He just seems so hungry every 2-3 hours. I've tried to give him a pacifier at night instead of the bottle because I read that this was a way to wean the night time feedings - he wasn't having any of that though!
I think that his colic has greatly improved as well. At about 6 weeks of age, we were told that Luke had an extreme case of colic by his pediatrician. So, needless to say, things have been ROUGH! All the books say that 4 months starts the period where colic symptoms start to subside....let's hope those experts are correct! Today, we celebrate Luke's 4 month birthday and look forward to a new & improved temperament!
